1. PGP-MG is beneficial for children and their families.

When young children attend appointments with one of their parents, a clear management plan will be created. This plan can be shared with the other parent, grandparents, or the child's nursery or school. Since multiple individuals may be involved in the child's treatment, they can all contribute to administering medication and monitoring the child's progress.

Example PGP-MP - can be done in 1-2 minutes

You have ear infection
I recommend:
1. Please, leave the ear swab taken now in the reception on your way out. This swab will be sent to the laboratory for testing.
If the test reveals that the bacteria are not sensitive to the antibiotic I prescribe now but are sensitive to a different one, you will be contacted and advised to start a course of the antibiotic the bacteria are sensitive to.
If the infection is caused by a bacteria sensitive to the antibiotic I prescribe now, you will not hear from the GP.

2. Drink plenty of fluids,
