Patient GP Management Plan (PGP-MP)

“If you want something you've never had, you must be willing to do something you've never done.” — Thomas Jefferson

This website is intended exclusively for General Practitioners (GPs), also known as family doctors worldwide.

It does not provide any advice to patients, the general public or GPs

The Patient GP Management Plan (PGP-MP) is a strategic principle shared to encourage reflection and improvement in GP consultations. This website is not about who created or shared the idea - it is about the value the strategy may offer you.

Before considering the identity or qualifications of the person behind PGP-MP (available in the Identity Disclosure & Ethical Standards section), we invite you to first explore the potential benefits of the strategy itself. You may question whether the author is qualified to recommend a GP consultation strategy—and that’s entirely fair. In fact, PGP-MP is not a recommendation. It is a principle offered for consideration, not endorsement.

I am a fully qualified GP and have been practising continuously since 1997.

I assure you that this website is dedicated to sharing experience and will never function as a commercial site.

I would like to share my strategy for GP consultations, based on the principle of the "Patient GP Management Plan." This approach aims to enhance both the effectiveness and efficiency of these consultations.

I want to emphasise that my intention is not to promote or sell anything, which eliminates any potential conflicts of interest in my presentation.

While the site may have an amateurish and straightforward appearance, the concept of PGP-MP is what truly matters. I have been using the PGP-MP principle since 1996, and its effectiveness and efficiency have been remarkable.

Dear Colleague GP, I hope you enjoy exploring this website.

I understand that using the principles of PGP-MP might seem to require considerable time and effort. However, I assure you that it is much simpler than it initially appears.

Furthermore, with speech-to-text software, using PGP-MP makes every consultation much more enjoyable for the patient.

I recommend you take the time to read all the information on this website to understand PGP-MP better.

"The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking." — Albert Einstein
